Gypsy Vanner horses are known to look elegant, regal, and have a unique look.

A domesticated pony breed with Irish roots, the Gypsy Vanner is often referred to as the Gypsy Cob and Irish Cob. It had previously been bred for about a century to pull Gypsy caravans when it was ultimately imported to the US in 1996. In addition to being selected for endurance and robustness, smaller representatives of the breed are considerably more highly appreciated because they require less feed and hence are less expensive to maintain than larger horses. In addition to their friendly and relaxed demeanor, they are also quite athletic.

The UK and Ireland are the birthplaces of the Gypsy Vanner.

They are diminutive horses, from 12.2 to 16 hands. They are robust and powerful like a Clydesdale because of their draft-type frame. They are quite simple to train and have quiet, sensitive demeanor. Due to their intelligence, docility, and ease of training, Gypsy Vanners are among the most well-liked pony breeds in existence today. They are well-liked among families and make great beginning horses.
