HIS SAD EYES PAINTED A PICTURE OF THE ABOMINABLE LIFE HE WAS FORCED TO ENDURE

According to ilovemydogsomuch, Chicken was a stray dog seen walking about by himself in extremely poor condition.

In addition to being ill, he had mange, which had led to the loss of all of his hair and the development of scabs all over his body.

He was thankfully saved by Sidewalk Specials, who took him right away to their veterinarian for adequate medical attention. His skin started to recover and his hair began to regrow after regular treatments and medicated baths.

Chicken appears to be a whole different dog today! His experience just serves to emphasize the adage “don’t judge a book by its cover.”

Now chicken is safe, secure, and most importantly, content!

He was even adopted into a nice, devoted household where he has a comfortable bed of his own and is lavished with toys.

Even though Chicken was raised on the streets, he is already familiar with all of his basic instructions and is picking up canine behavior rapidly.
Even his new cat sibling gets along with him!
